Ladder update, many months later:
Hello David,
My name is [L] and I’m currently working on [television show] and we are currently casting for our next series for someone with unusual instruments and I came across nervous squirrel on the net and was inquiring if you still have the stepladder or anything that is an instrument made from common items from around the house that could be disguised as an everyday object or possibly an instrument made from food.
It is a prime time Saturday night game show where a line up of 5 people are revealed (Similar to Never Mind The Buzzcocks) and 2 panels of celebrities try to distinguish which of the line up are telling the truth, the final reveal would be you or someone else performing your instruments on the show.
If you know of anything like what I have described or would just like more information, please message me back.
Thank you so much for your time,
L
Hi L,
I still have the ladders (there are two of them).
Do you know when/where they might need to be filmed? Would you only need one, or could Patrick Furness and I perform a duet?
It would be great to hear some more details.
Best wishes,
Dave.
[ Followed by phone call discussing the creation of a video to show how the ladders could be used ]
Hey David,
Looking forward to what you guys can get out of the stepladders over the
weekend. Let me know if there are any problems but hopefully you'll get
some magic out of them.
Just curious about the types of songs, Is it possible to input the
beginning of smoke on the water or van halen's jump or is it more just
random notes.
Can't wait to see what it looks like.
Talk soon.
[ Discussions ended soon after this due to insistence of Van Halen... artistic differences! ]
